Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Failed pavement; deeply rutted and heavily cracked seal.Stabilise 150 mm subgrade and replace pavement with new crushed rock pavement to 150 mm thickness. Total new pavement 30 0mm. Reinstate gravel shoulders and regrade table drains both sides; replace culverts as required.
Frost Avenue, Maryborough - 122259-22VIC-RTR
The pavement is in very poor condition (greater than 50%) patching; kerb & channel is also in a poor state (great than 2/3 rated as 'poor'); Verges/medians and footpaths quite poor and need replacing to ensure complete upgrade of urban road/pedestrian environment.Full reconstruction of Frost Av (150mm cement stabilised base; 150mm new crushed rock pavement) new linemarking, new kerb and channel and new concrete footpaths.

Critically stressed asphalt pavement - geotech substrength subgrade leading to deep ruts, severe cracking and failed sections of road.Critically stressed asphalt pavement - geotech indicates a requirement to stabilise the subgrade and replace existing asphalt pavement with new 150mm thick 20mm Stone Asphalt plus 40mm thick 14mm stone Asphalt wearing course to handle the large trucks that use this section of road to supply the Goldfields Shopping center.
Bundella Road (Rural Road) - 122530-23NSW-RTR
Basecouse has worn down to rock lined subbase creating very rough ride for vehicles.Place 50mm thick compacted basecourse and shape.

Basecourse has worn down to rock lined subbase creating extremely rough travel surface.Place 50mm depth compacted basecourse and shape.
Henzell Road, Caboolture - 122733-23QLD-RTR
The existing pavement is currently showing significant signs of rutting, crocodile cracking, stripping and pavement fails.The project scope includes the rehabilitation of the subject section of road. The project objective is to renew the pavement and achieve the required level of service.Total cost of proposed project is $500,000
Kirby Road, Elimbah - 122734-23QLD-RTR
Road has fallen below the desired level of service and road pavement requires waterproofing and currently has dust issues.The scope of works involves upgrading the existing gravel road to a bitumen spray seal on a constructed gravel base layer. Spray seal to be extended to give a consistent surface. The project objective is to renew the pavement and achieve the required level of service and waterproof the road pavement and reducing dust issues.Total cost of proposed project is $280,000
Michael Ave, Morayfield - 122736-23QLD-RTR
Inspections have shown that this road has fallen below its desired level of service and proactive resurfacing is required.This road has fallen below its desired level of service and proactive resurfacing is required. The project objective is to renew the pavement and achieve the required level of service.Total cost of proposed project is $1,400,000
