Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

National Park Road (Rural Road) - 052837-14NSW-RTR
Road becomes slippery when wet (formed from on site natural material)and is prone to deep rutting and potholes in dry weather. Road is a primary through road and is used by heavy vehicles primarily through harvest.Reshape road and gravel sheet - Win and cart gravel - Spread gravel at 6m wide X 130mm thick, compact to 100mm.
Ibbs Lane, Mailors Flat (Rural Road) - 123222-23VIC-RTR
The road pavement has significantly deteriorated, there is substantial rutting.The road will be fully rehabilitated, including the additional of pavement material, drainage and widening.Total cost of proposed project is $510,000
Korongah North Road, Rosebrook (rural road) - 123226-23VIC-RTR
The road pavement and surface has deteriorated. The rideability is dangerous. Tree roots have impacted the pavements vertical geometry.The road will be fully rehabilitated, including the additional of pavement material and then a final seal.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
Minjah-Hawkesdale Road, Hawkesdale (rural road) - 123234-23VIC-RTR
Road pavement has significantly deteriorated. There is substantial rutting and the pavement surface is uneven.The road will be fully rehabilitated, including the addition of pavement material and a final sealTotal cost of proposed project is $364,000
Willatook-Warrong Road, Willatook (rural road) - 123236-23VIC-RTR
The road pavement is narrow and surface has significantly deteriorated. There is substantial rutting and pavement ride is poor.The road will be fully rehabilitated, including the additional of pavement material, widening, drainage and then a final seal.Total cost of proposed project is $760,000
Hope Avenue, Wokalup - 123246-23WA-RTR
Old narrow seal has constant edgewear and poor drainage and is used every day by the dairy industry tankers for milk pick up from local dairies.Reconstruct narrow formation width to 8m wide, construct 7m seal width with 0.75m shoulders, improve table drains and culverts to ensure runoff drains away from the road pavement.
Clifton Road, Brunswick - 123245-23WA-RTR
Aged, sealed pavement cracking and letting moisture into subgrade pavement. Kerbing requires replacement also, cracking and broken sections.Reconstruct road base course, primer seal and kerb, asphalt overlay and upgrade drainage to 7.4m wide.
Bulmans Road, Melton West - 123194-23VIC-RTR
Bulmans Road, Melton West is a Rural Road within an urban environment.Road Rehabilitaion works, parking improvements, pedestrian safety, lighting upgrades and linemarking improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $8,000,000
Hume Drive, Taylors Hill - 123195-23VIC-RTR
Limited capacity on the road network due to increased growthDuplication of Hume Drive including improvements to the pedestrian networkTotal cost of proposed project is $4,000,000
Emanuel Way, Fitzroy Crossing - 121847-22WA-RTR
Surface has considerable crocodile cracking and shoving on the bitumen surface due to the increase in heavy vehicle movements.To lay asphalt on the current surface following minor improvements and sealing to allow a better and longer lasting surface for the increased truck movements.Total cost of proposed project is $353,242
