Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Bridge Street is an existing, aged sealed road located in a high growth area of Lake Macquarie. Due to the heavy traffic usage of this road over time, extensive pavement failures have occurred making ongoing maintenance unviable. Sycamore Street, Pimlico - 123526-23QLD-RTR
The existing asphalt surface is aged, course textured and displays cracking and potholing throughout. The shoulders are severely cracked and potholed with extensive previous patching. The road formation is poor with very little crown through the running lanes and a significant lip and hinge point to the shoulders.Full width mill and replace. The quantity is approximately 6790m2.
Vennard Street, Garbutt - 123527-23QLD-RTR
The existing surface displays several defects including severe cracking, potholing and patching throughout. There is a significant number of heavy vehicles that use Vennard Street and intervention is required before complete pavement failure occurs.Full width mill and replacement with heavy duty asphalt. The quantity is approximately 1711m2.
Newbolt Street, Wetherill Park 2164 - 123447-23NSW-RTR
The road is affected by some failure of road base, depressions and various types of cracks.The proposed treatment includes the rectification of failed areas and resurface with rubberised seal and hot mix asphalt. Length = 223 m, Width =9.2m, Area = 2070 m2.
Philby Place, Bonnyrigg 2177 - 123441-23NSW-RTR
The road is affected by some failure of road base, depressions and various types of cracks.The proposed treatment includes the rectification of failed areas and resurface with rubberised seal and hot mix asphalt. Length = 276 m, Width =7.2 m, Area = 2090 m2.
Tarlington Parade, Bonnyrigg 2177 - 123442-23NSW-RTR
The road is affected by some failure of road base, depressions and various types of cracks.The proposed treatment includes the rectification of failed areas and resurface with rubberised seal and hot mix asphalt. Length = 267 m, Width =10.3m, Area = 2700 m2
Grabine Road (Rural Road) - 052861-14NSW-RTR
Problems being addressed is the poor roadside drainage and rutting and shifting of the road surface and the loss of gravel surface which contributes to teh poor wearing surface.Works proposed to be undertaken for this project is to seal 1600m of the road, which will seal a steep grade on this section of road. This will involve drainage improvements and importing, spreading, shaping and compacting gravel and applying a bituminous seal to the 1600m of the newly formed road pavement.
