Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Norton Road - 124169-23WA-RTR
The road is a school bus route, has higher volumes of traffic during harvest, is used by tourists to access Koolanooka Springs when travelling from the south and is currently corrugated and potholed with vegetation growing on verges. Widening and improving surface rideability and drainage will provide a suitable and safe linkage for road users.Clear road verges to 12m wide, box pout formation to 10m and gravel re-sheet to 10m
White Road - 124168-23WA-RTR
White Road is quite narrow and requires maintenance works to address safety and access concerns. The road sees heavier traffic volumes during harvest, so width and line of sight are primary concerns. During wildflower season, White Road produces a number of rare orchids and wreath flowers, increasing tourist traffic.Clearing of rad verge to 12m wide, box out formation base to 10m, gravel re-sheet to 10m
Collins Road - 124167-23WA-RTR
The road is a school bus route and it's surface is corrugated and potholed with vegetation on verges obscuring vision. Research Road (Rural Road) - 124138-23SA-RTR
Research Road is a Class 1 road that provides access to multiple farming, residential and businesses along the road. In recent years, traffic volumes have increased along the road and the current road surface has deteriorated to a point where intervention is required.Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and decrease maintenance intervalsTotal cost of proposed project is $280,045
Wonwondah Dadswells Bridge Road, (rural road), 3400 - 052870-14VIC-RTR
Pavement failed due to heavy traffic and poor drainage. Poor riding surface, narrow seal and drainage issues are to be addressed.An extra pavement layer to be installed including replacement of sealed surface and widening it to 6.2m. This will provide a smooth riding surface, safe traffic passage and improved drainage. Length 540 metres x 6.2 metres wide.Total cost of proposed project is $97,000
Haydon Road (Rural Road) - 124137-23SA-RTR
Haydon Road is located East of the Township of Roseworthy and provides an important transport link for the local community and farming access through harvest. The road condition is nearing its end of life with minimal material left of the surface to allow maintenance grading to occur. The wider community have reported the road as being highly corrugated with multiple areas of subsurface breakthrough.Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and decrease maintenance intervals.
Lawley Street, Spalding - 124152-23WA-RTR
The existing surface has various cracks. Some cracks have been sealed, the binder displays signs of oxidation and it is prone to futher cracking.Asphalt ResurfaceTotal cost of proposed project is $160,105
Seventh Street, Wonthella - 124153-23WA-RTR
The wearing surface shows signs of deterioration. There are a number of cracks sealed. While new cracks are also present. Some areas are starting to display signs of Rutting.Asphalt ResurfaceTotal cost of proposed project is $364,351
