Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

The Esplanade, Mount Pleasant, WA - 124249-23WA-RTR
Road beginning to fail in various sections. Road surface is old and rough and needs resurfacing.Rehabilitation of select number of sections along the road that are currently failing. The works is to be undertaken as part of a more general upgrade that will include resurfacing of the road, kerb replacement were required and pram ramp upgrade.Total cost of proposed project is $105,505
Clause Street, Willagee, WA - 124250-23WA-RTR

Clovelly Road, Randwick - 124251-23NSW-RTR
Pavement failure evidenced by multiple crocodile cracking locations, multiple potholes repairs and road patching. Block cracking and environment cracking, oxidation of road surface and moderate to severe ravelling of road surface. Isolated damaged and raised kerb & gutter sections caused by trees roots.100mm heavy patching pf pavement failure areas and 50mm resheeting entire road carriage way. Reconstruct sections of damaged and raised kerb & gutter. In addition, reinstatement of line marking.
Springvale, Rural Road - 121768-22QLD-RTR
The road is currently unsealed. No gravel left on formation of road surface, base course is corrugated and pot holes.It is proposed re-sheet and formation grade.
McKinnon Road, Pinelands - 124286-23NT-RTR
The surface is potholing and breaking up making the road unsafe.Supply and install AC14 (A15E) asphalt overlay to a nomial depth of 40mm
Howards Road (Rural Road) - 123543-23NSW-RTR
- Road subject to closure in wet weather due to poor pavement condition. - 65 year old concrete bridge sized culvert to narrow with an available deck width of 6.2m. Class 1 Agricultural vehicles require access along this road. The current allowable combination width available in the area under notice is 7.5m width. - Sealed pavement reaching end of useful life with a condition rating of 5 (Very poor) and the wearing surface seal is under width at 5.4m on a road network hierarchy target of 7m. Segments 2 and 3 of Howards Road newer pavements sealed to 7m. - Potential stacking distance issue for large heavy vehicles between rail crossing and Goldfields Way. - Howards road facilitates access to a major piggery on the intersection of Howards and Speirs Road with Howards road being the only sealed road access to the site.-Traffic, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management. • Clearing and grubbing of vegetation for formation widening (3840m x 4m) • Formation widening from existing 8m formation width to 10m formation width. Sub grade / foundation preparation (12m width). • Pavement shoulder widening and subbase strengthening by stabilisation (3.84kms). • Replace a 65 year old under width bridge size box culvert at CH980. • Upgrade of a 200m long bitumen sealed gravel causeway to concrete at CH3675. • Table drain construction. • 14mm Bitumen sealing of shoulders at 7m wide and 8m wide on curves. • 7mm Bitumen Sealing of full width including shoulders. • Installation of road furniture (signs and guideposts).Total cost of proposed project is $4,147,775
Temple Terrace, Palmerston City - 124287-23NT-RTR
The surface is potholing and breaking up making the road unsafe.Cold milling & disposal of existing asphalt, and re-sealing of roadTotal cost of proposed project is $584,237
Avenue of the Allies, Tanilba Bay - 124275-23NSW-RTR
This section of Avenue of the Allies has extensive pavement failures, is narrow, poorly shaped and drained and requires upgrading to suit current use.To undertake pavement widening and strengthening, including the installation of additional drainage infrastructure and improving intersection layouts.Total cost of proposed project is $1,500,000
Old Minyip Road, (rural road), Horsham 3400 - 052885-14VIC-RTR
Gravel surface is weathered due to rain, wind and heavy traffic. Water ponding and poor riding surface are to be addressed.Reshaping the pavement and topping with 75 mm compacted thickness of gravel to provide a smooth riding surface and improved drainage. Length 1800 metres x 4 metres wide.
Beltana Road, Pialligo - 124288-23ACT-RTR
Reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing Beltana Road road pavement, which is suffering from extensive pavement failure, pot holes and subgrade failure. Unexpected subsidence to newly completed works has resulted in lengthy delays. Investigations into the cause of the subsidence has shown that existing compaction in and around previous sewer works is likely the issue. Rectification of these works will require the installation of stormwater lines and a redesign of the proposed design. These delays have pushed the expected completion date out.Reconstruct to required depth new subgrade and road pavement to entire length of Beltana Road
