Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Savilles Road, NAMBOUR - 122291-22QLD-RTR
The proposed section has the following defects: significant crocodile cracking, large depressions and/or potholes. The existing surface is old and oxidised. Sellenger Avenue, Samson - 124414-23WA-RTR
Asset Management process identified asphalt wearing course has come to the end of its useful life and has started to break up resulting in cracking and potholes. Minor sections of kerb line damaged, pram ramps creating access issues and drainage structures requiring cycle safe replacement grates and adjustments.358m L x 7.4m W = 2,651m2. Existing asphalt wearing course will be milled off in sections and over laid with a 30mm thick, AC10 metal at 50blow dense graded asphalt. Kerbing will be replaced over short sections, pram ramps replaced to meet flush with asphalt and new cycle safe wave grates installed onto existing drainage structures and adjusted for height during construction.Total cost of proposed project is $97,300

Minor sections of kerb line damaged, pram ramps creating access issues and drainage structures requiring cycle safe replacement grates and adjustments.95m L x 10.2m W = 968m2. Existing asphalt wearing course will be milled off in sections and over laid with a 30mm thick, AC10 metal at 50blow dense graded asphalt. Kerbing will be replaced over short sections, pram ramps replaced to meet flush with asphalt and new cycle safe wave grates installed onto existing drainage structures and adjusted for height during construction.Total cost of proposed project is $37,706
Robertson street - Mudgee - 124417-23NSW-RTR
The road formation and seal are narrow, and the road pavement is in poor condition with seal cracking, edge drops and potholes an ongoing problem. A large box culvert is very narrow and restricts traffic movements to effectively one way over a short distance.Rehabilitation of the road to widen and strengthen the pavement, providing an 8m seal on a 10m pavement and good drainage throughout, including widening of the large box culvert.Total cost of proposed project is $550,475
Long Point Road, (Rural Road) - 124192-23NSW-RTR
Erosion of Top Soil. Degraded road pavement causes safety issues for motorists. Road needs grading and gravel resheeting.Grading of road and gravel resheeting required.
Ranford Road, Canning Vale - 122387-22WA-RTR
Existing road asphalt is old and cracking and in need of renewalfoam bitumen stabilisation 250mm deep with a 3.5% residual bitumen and 0.7% cement. top layer being 40mm AC14/75Total cost of proposed project is $517,258
Yoevil Road (Rural Road) - 124334-23QLD-RTR
Deterioration of seal with cracking and stripping of the seal.Reseal with a single coat bitumen seal (6 metres wide, 10mm stone).Total cost of proposed project is $167,199
