Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Buaraba Creek Road, Buaraba - 124401-23QLD-RTR
Existing bitumen surface has deteriorated and requires resealing to improve safety and prevent deterioration of pavement beneath1 coat crumbed rubber seal
Sugargum Drive-Bodega Street, Waurn Ponds - 124497-23VIC-RTR
Major depressions, extensive seal rutting including longitudinal and block cracking caused by indifferent and poor subgrade settlement in existing road pavement. Pavement failure exacerbated by regular heavy vehicle movement of buses along this road. Stormwater is penetrating through badly cracked seal to the subgrade layers accelerating pavement deterioration.Full pavement and seal reconstruction along 580 metre length and 10 metre width of road. Treatment works will incorporate a 600 millimetre thick pavement profile consisting of 400 millimetre of newly laid and compacted crushed rock with a 200 millimetre deep lift asphalt as the wearing course. Upgrade works will include new kerb and channel where necessary.
Dorene Street, St Marys - 124503-23SA-RTR
Dorene Street is a local road built on highly reactive soils. It has failing seal and pavement components, as well as significant lengths of failing kerb. It is proposed to replace the existing kerb for the full length of the road. In conjunction with kerb replacement, opportunitites for WSUD treatments such as rain gardens and permeable pavements will be incorporated into the works to assist with water quality improvements. A new stormwater system will be incorpated into the works to assist with the management of stormwater flooding. The existing road seal and pavement will be replaced with a new road seal and pavement.
Rodger Road (Rural Road) - 124522-23WA-RTR
This road is being used as a shortcut to bypass Newdegate town by both heavy vehicles and light vehicles, thinning the gravel pavement and revealing clay layer causing slipperiness when wet. Surface of road scoured as water crosses over the top. Signage has faded.Resheet entire work section and widen to 10 metres, replace and extend culverts, replace signage, install new steel guideposts to side of road.
West Kuender Road (Rural Road) - 124523-23WA-RTR
Very heavy traffic has caused severe corrugation on the road. Road is unable to shed water fast enough and pools in ruts after traffic, further weakening pavement. Fading signage.Resheet and widen gravel road to 10 metres, and replace and extend culverts. Apply new 7.2 metre wide 2-coat seal to entire road section length. Replace signage. Install new guideposts to side of road.
Burngup Road (Rural Road) - 124524-23WA-RTR
Due to heavy traffic this section of road's pavement is thinning. Water unable to cross under the road due to silted culverts from road debris. Faded signage.Resheet entire length of work section and widen to 10 metres width. Replace and extend culverts and install headwalls for debris protection. Replace signage. Install new guideposts.
Wickepin-Pingelly Road (rural road) - 124489-23WA-RTR
The road surface and subgrade is failing. The carriageway is too narrow for restricted access vehicles.Reconstruct and widen the road to a 12 metre formation with an 8 metre seal, including drainage improvements and culvert extensions.Total cost of proposed project is $598,615
High Street, Trentham - 124535-23VIC-RTR
Bluestone channel in poor condition, road surface at end of useful life, footpath in poor condition.Rebuild bluestone kerb, rehabilitate and asphalt overlay pavement, upgrade drainage, upgrade footpath and minor surrounding area civic amenity improvements.
Moppett Street, Hay - 124533-23NSW-RTR
Inadequate drainage causing road failure.Replace 140m of kerb and gutter.
East Avenue - 052918-14NSW-RTR
The road pavement has numerous failures, requiring regular routine maintenance to patch potholes and rectify other pavement defects.Rehabilitation, including excavation of the existing unsound pavement material, and the construction of a suitable depth of sound pavement, and bitumen sealing the full road width.
