Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The pavement surface is reaching the end of its useful life with roughness increasing and pavement failures occurringIt is proposed to undertake pavement rehabilitation on a 2.52 km section on Bollon Road to maintain the road surfaceTotal cost of proposed project is $557,726

Road was unsealed, narrow and a steep incline and with elevated road user risk due to conflict with logging vehicles and general public vehicles.Road widening including drainage upgrade and culvert extensions and road sealing.

Road surface has reached end of useful life and needs resurfacingReseal road surface
Charlotte Court, Break O'day) - 125461-23TAS-RTR
Seal at end of operational life with degradation rate increased by heavy vehicle movements (garbage trucks)Road resealed with asphalt to provide higher durability and extend life of road surface.Total cost of proposed project is $50,416

Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Councils Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface is approaching the end of its life.Profile existing sealed surface where necessary, apply new sprayed seal over the full width of existing sealed pavement, then reinstate pavement marking and signage.Total cost of proposed project is $48,000
Yeelirrie Road, (rural road) - 125271-23WA-RTR
The road requires reforming and reshaping of the existing gravel pavement to a depth of 150mm compacted thickness - this will greatly improve drainage as well as the running surface, thereby improving road safety.Re-form, re-shape and re sheet 5kms of gravel road to a depth of 150mm compacted thickness and install guideposts and signage.
Cadell Street, Hay - 125440-23NSW-RTR
Aged bitumen has deteriorated forming cracks and potholes creating safety risks for road users.Heavy patching of 210m2 area at the corner Cadell and Hope Street.
Clarence Way (Rural Road) - 053017-14NSW-RTR
The road surface has commenced cracking and the old seal has oxidised due to age. The road surface requires resealing to continue protecting the road pavement.The proposed work will reseal 3,160 metres of Clarence Way. The seal width is 6.5 metres wide.
Russell Street, Hay - 125441-23NSW-RTR
Aged bitumen has deteriorated forming cracks and potholes creating safety risks for road users.Heavy patching of 273m2 area starting at the corner of Russell & Nailor Streets and running along the west side of Nailor Street.
Hayward Street, Dardanup - 125423-23WA-RTR
Failed pavement at school bus bay causing hazard to road users.Full depth reconstruction with concrete and bitumen overlay of deteriorated school bus bay. Reconstruction of kerbs to bus bay and correction of drainage levels.Total cost of proposed project is $76,966
