Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Eaton Drive, Dardanup - 125425-23WA-RTR
Increased traffic over time has resulted in significant traffic congestion at a major intersection between a District Distributor (Eaton Drive) and a Local Distributor road (Glenhuon Boulevard). Long delays and queuing of traffic occurs at Glenhuon Boulevard at peak times.This project provides for the final design and engineering investigations for the construction (in 2024/2025) of a revised, three-way signalised intersection layout. Revised channelisation and construction of new slip-lanes will enable safe left turns into and out of Glenhuon Boulevard while maximising the through traffic flow on the dual carriageways of Eaton Drive.Total cost of proposed project is $150,000

Seal surface is deteriorating to end of life, needs to be rectified to ensure safe usage for public.Reseal section with 14mm aggregate and bitumen for a width of 6m.
Four Corners Road, Coleambally (Rural Road) - 125437-23NSW-RTR
School bus route, access road for heavy vehicles. Unsealed road in poor condition, rough surface.Stabilise existing material and compact, bitumen seal to provide a 6m seal plus 1m shoulders on both sides for a length of 10km.Total cost of proposed project is $2,070,000
Cadell Road, Coleambally (Rural Road) - 125420-23NSW-RTR
Seal surface is deteriorating to end of life, needs to be rectified to ensure safe usage for public.Reseal section with 14mm aggregate and bitumen for a width of 6m.
Myola Road, Kuranda - 125476-23QLD-RTR
The existing two lane bitumen road is experiencing pavement failure due to ingress of water from aging asphault seal. The road surface has numerous pot holes and is showing signs of overall deterioration from use by commercial vehicles.The proposed works include the milling and asphalt filling of failed pavement areas and a full width 10mm aggregate.Total cost of proposed project is $821,162

Clyde Street, Diamond Creek - 053018-14VIC-RTR
The road is currently sealed with a sprayed seal and has wide shoulders with table drains and an old redundnat kerb and channel. The surface is breaking up and water is travelling beneath and through the seal and continual maintenance is required. The road base is not considered stable due to the water penetration. It is an urban local road.It is proposed to remove the existing sprayed seal, table drains and kerb and channel. Stabilise the road base reconstruct the road to that of a local urban road. Asphalt pavement and kerb and channel.Total cost of proposed project is $286,000
Saltern Creek Road, Barcaldine - 125158-23QLD-RTR
