Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Eulup Manurup Road (Rural Road) - 127974-24WA-RTR
Renewal of the road surface is required to ensure the integrity of the road and assist with the maintenance of the surface. Failures appearing within the surface. This road receives heavy vehicle use frequently from the surrounding farming areas.Vegetation management. Formation renewal. Shoulder and drainage renewal. 10 mm chip reseal.
Millinup Road (Rural Road) - 127960-24WA-RTR
Gravel surface has deteriorated and gravel has worn thin. Dense surrounding vegetation has contributed to overburdening silt in drains. Guideposts require an upgrade. This road is a school bus route.Vegetation management. Renewed drainage and shoulders. Gravel re-sheet.
Dulvay Road (Rural Road) - 127663-24NSW-RTR
Problem being addressed is an old timber bridge needing repairs with a current 25 tonne load limit applied to the structure.Work proposed is timber component renewal of girders so we can look to remove the applied load limit.
Tenterden Road (Rural Road) - 127662-24NSW-RTR
Problem being addressed is an old timber bridge in poor condition with a current 25 tonne load limit causing issues for agricultural heavy vehicle movements. If not fixed the restrictions will become more severe into the future.The work proposed is to carry out identified timber component renewal so we can remove the load limits and restore to T44 access until upgrade funding can be sourced.
Melrose Road (Rural Road) - 127634-24NSW-RTR
Problem being addressed is an old timber bridge in poor condition with a 10 tonne bridge restriction currently in the process of being applied and signposted. Will create issues for local agricultural business, transport companies and others if not repaired for access into the future.The work proposed is an in situ restoration of the timber components using epoxy resins. Work will be completed by specialised contractor. The project is funded about 70% by the Regional Emergency Road Repair Fund.Total cost of proposed project is $81,418
Davys Plains Road, Cudal - 053272-14NSW-RTR
Culvert requires extending. Pavement failure width is currently 5m to 5.5m wide.Culvert extension. Road widening stabilisation to a 8m formation and a 7m seal for 1.93km 150mm overlay.Total cost of proposed project is $531,465
Denham Street, Spearwood - 127788-24WA-RTR
Flooding issues in which stormwater drainage pipe network is under capacity, which has caused flooding to a nearby property during an intensive storm event.Upgrade the drainage capacity of the pipe infrastructure to cater for a 1 in 100 storm event. Furthermore, as the new drainage pipe is located in the centre of the road to avoid clashes with services in the verge, the affected 100 m section of Denham Street will be resurfaced from the intersection of Edeline Street for 110 m. Remaining budget to be funded by Municipal funds.Total cost of proposed project is $730,250
Edeline Street, Spearwood - 127787-24WA-RTR
Flooding issues in which stormwater drainage pipe network is under capacity, which has caused flooding to a nearby property during an intensive storm event.Upgrade the drainage capacity of the pipe infrastructure to cater for a 1 in 100 storm event. Furthermore, as most of the drainage works will be conducted within the verge, only the intersection of Edeline Street and Denham Street will be resurfaced, as it is only a short section of drainage going under the road. Remaining costs to be funded by Municipal funds.Total cost of proposed project is $486,833
Wingadee Road (Rural Road) - 127958-24NSW-RTR
Poor shape, drainage and in some locations loss of material. Reform to restore the road surface profile and condition, including table drains. Recovery of suitable material from table drains (by grader), incorporation of water and compaction.
Oaklands Road (Rural Road) - 127955-24SA-RTR
Road is deteriorating with surface defects creating a hazard to the road user as it is nearing its end of life.Road will be re-sheeted with 100 mm of crushed limestone rubble which will return it to an as new standard. This project will be jointly funded by RTR and Barunga West Council using rates income.Total cost of proposed project is $71,547
