Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Pioneer Road Hundred of Strangways - 053307-14NT-RTR
The current seal is cracking and stripping and is old seal.The proposed works are to reseal 1900m section of the road to current resealing standards.Total cost of proposed project is $148,932
Babakin Corrigin Road (Rural Road) - 128195-24WA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to poor condition.Reconstruct and widen existing surface width to 10 m and surfacing width to 8 m seal and upgrade drainage, signage and clear zones. Additional funding for the project is derived from the shire's allocation of the Main Roads WA Direct Grant.
Bendering Road (Rural Road) - 128190-24WA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to poor condition.Reseal with single coat 10 mm Crumbed Rubber Seal to 3.6 m to 6.0 m width.
Grant Street, Mangalore (Rural Road) - 128258-24VIC-RTR
The road pavement has deteriorated and shows signs of failure such as depressions, cracking and general roughness.The entire section of road pavement will be spray-sealed and appropriately sized stone applied as per Councils maintenance protocol.
Blayney Lane (Rural Road) - 128253-24VIC-RTR
The road pavement has deteriorated and shows signs of failure such as depressions, cracking and general roughness.The entire section of road pavement will be spray-sealed and appropriately sized stone applied as per Councils maintenance protocol.
Yass Valley Way (Rural Road) - 128246-24NSW-RTR
Existing bitumen pavement has failed in sections due to age and increased traffic volumes.Existing failed pavement sections will be dug out to 300 mm deep and replaced with new material to strengthen road. Repaired sections will then be bitumen sealed and line-marked for safety.
Evans Street, Belmont - 128256-24VIC-RTR
This road has extreme depressions, a very rough surface and the pavement is in poor condition due to excessive cracking of seal allowing water to penetrate and cause pavement damage.To reconstruct approximately 300 metres of road length at a 10 metre width by excavating existing material and providing for new 490 millimetre crushed rock pavement and 100 millimetre asphalt seal.
Kerinaiua Highway, Wurrumiyang - 053308-14NT-RTR
Failure in asphalt due to a combination of heavy vehicle articulation and stormwater drainage failure. This is the main heavy traffic route between the barge landing where products are delivered then transported to the CommunityRebuild intersection with 150mm thick structural concrete slab to avoid future articulation damage. Rerun aged/damaged 450mm concrete stormwater pipes through to exit point on foreshore(60 meters).
Mayday Road, Batlow - 128260-24NSW-RTR
Periodic Asset Management for oxidising and fatiguing seals.Repair and reseal.
Ninth Avenue, Townsville - 128265-24QLD-RTR
The existing asphalt surface is aged and has reached end of life, displaying fatigue cracking, pothole and patch repairs.Undertake full mill and replace of the existing asphalt surface.
