Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Dorothy Street, Fremantle - 128299-24WA-RTR
In a recent road condition audit undertaken by an external consultant, this road attained a condition of 5. City officers confirm that its deterioration is critical and requires urgent renewal.30 mm overlay, renewal of kerb line, line marking and traffic management.
Alfred Road, North Fremantle - 128301-24WA-RTR
In a recent road condition survey, this road was rated a condition 5 and has severe rutting. Therefore, this project has been identified for immediate renewal.30 mm asphalt overlay, new kerbing, traffic management.
Tingoora Chelmsford Road, Tingoora - 128825-24QLD-RTR
The current road pavement has multiple defects (stripping, flushing, cracking, rutting, potholes) due to inadequate under-road stormwater drainage, poor table drainage, and low strength sub-grade and pavement materials.The existing road pavement to be widened to achieve a minimum pavement and seal width of 8.0 m on an 8.0 m wide formation. The new pavement cross-section to consist of 2 x 3.5 m wide traffic lanes and 2 x 0.5 m wide sealed shoulders. The appropriate treatment is to rehabilitate the pavement via an in situ stabilisation process of the existing pavement, including top-up where required. Council has allocated in the 2024/25 financial year's approved capital budget the required additional funding of $790,427 as South Burnett Regional Council's contribution for the project.Total cost of proposed project is $2,928,239

Glenrowan-Moyhu Road, Greta - 053370-14VIC-RTR
Bitumen surface is aged and severely cracked. That is the bitumen surface is failing, risking further failure to the road pavement.Repair surface failures and reseal road.
Underwood Road (Rural Road) - 128872-24TAS-RTR
Bridge beam bearings at both ends are showing advanced rates of corrosion and deterioration. Note: A bridge bearing carries the loads or movement in both vertical and horizontal directions from the bridge superstructure and transfers those loads to the bridge piers and abutments.Refurbishment of the fixed steel and steel roller bearings to prevent any potential structural damage.
Elizabeth Parade, Charlestown - 128417-24NSW-RTR
Elizabeth Parade is an existing, aged sealed road located in a high growth area of Lake Macquarie. Due to the traffic usage of this road over time, extensive pavement failures have occurred making ongoing maintenance unviable. Reconstruction of the road is now required.Rehabilitation of the road, construction of new footpath and associated drainage replacement/upgrades. This project is partly funded by Roads to Recovery. The balance of the project will be funded by Council Asset Replacement Reserve.Total cost of proposed project is $3,714,000
