Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Few boggy sections arising due to gravel pavement wearing, impacting heavy vehicle haulage in wet weather.Propose to undertake gravel re-sheeting works and table drain shape improvements.
Lords Road (Rural Road) - 130877-24QLD-RTR
Gravel road wearing, vegetation management - regrowth in table drains and overhanging the road causing conflict with high vehicles.Gravel re-sheeting works on some sections of road. Vegetation clearing to reinstate table drain system. Tree lopping to remove overhead hazards.
National Park Road (Rural Road) - 130916-24QLD-RTR
Gravel surface wearing due to increase tourist traffic. Table drain system not functioning correctly. There are some safety concerns with large trees posing a risk on corners.Gravel re-sheeting on some sections of road, drainage reshaping and removal of vegetation regrowth. Vegetation removal of trees identified as a safety risk.Total cost of proposed project is $502,000
Cockings Road (Rural Road) - 130921-24QLD-RTR
Drainage system not functioning properly, gravel surface wearing, vegetation regrowth being an obstruction.Remove regrowth from table drains, clear blockages in culvert and undertake headwall maintenance. Gravel re-sheeting where pavement is reduced. Tree removal where vegetation is deemed a safety risk.
Wingeel Road, Hesse - 130868-24VIC-RTR
Existing sealed road exhibiting edge breaks, failure of shoulders, potholes with exposed subgrade - damage due to heavy vehicles agriculture and quarry trucks.Major rehabilitation of pavement, excavation, construction and sealing.
Armstrong St, Wentworth Falls - 130754-24NSW-RTR
Road surface deterioration such as potholing, stripping, cracking and oxidation.Two coat seal resealing is to be carried out to restore road surface condition 870 square metres.
Armstrong St, Wentworth Falls - 130755-24NSW-RTR
Road surface deterioration such as potholing, stripping, cracking and oxidation.Two coat seal resealing is to be carried out to restore road surface condition 2542 square metres.

Existing seal and pavement has badly deteriorated and is unsafe for vehicles due to the many pothole patches and irregularities on the road surfaces.Nominal pavement width to be increased to 4m. Renewal of low standard pavement with minimum 80mm fine crushed rock.
