Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

Halinda Street, Whalan - 053674-14NSW-RTR
The existing road pavement is heavily oxidised with extensive crocodile cracking and deformation throughout the pavement.   Deep areas of rutting along the kerb line has previously occurred, with the pavement being temporarily repaired and made safe.  Failures continue to progress along the kerb and gutter area, accelerating water ingress into the pavement. Overturning of the kerb and gutter in the same location is occurring increasing the risk of trip hazards and pavement deformation.Reconstruction of the road pavement including the provision of an asphalt wearing course and some kerb and gutter repair.
Tumut Plains Road, Tumut - 130997-24NSW-RTR
Periodic asset management for oxidising and fatiguing seals.Reconstruction, rehabilitation works.
Settlers Road, Field - 131372-24SA-RTR
Road pavement deteriorated beyond useful life.Reconstruction of existing unsealed road to achieve a minimum of 150 mm of compacted road surface to a width of 8 m including shoulders. Works include the rehabilitation of existing material and the importing of additional material. Additional funding will be sourced through Councils Unsealed Roads Renewal Program.Total cost of proposed project is $389,000
GNH-Gee Gully Road (Rural Road) - 128858-24WA-RTR
Road surface is worn and running surface in poor condition, some drainage requires cleaning and improvement to function correctly and section where batters require clearing has become overgrown becoming a safety risk to users.To reshape and re-sheet those sections of road and improve drainage and clear the overgrown batters at Straight Line Kilometre 124.00 for 2-3 kilometres Additional source of funding is Main Roads Western Australia - Road Project Grant $436,134, Remote Aboriginal Access Road Grant $24,000Total cost of proposed project is $653,888
Calwynyardah-Noonkanbah Road (Rural Road) - 128857-24WA-RTR
Sections of road have become worn with a loss of running surface and at Straight Line Kilometre 51.00 to 54.85 there has been significant scouring within the table drain.The proposed work is to reshape the running surface and re-sheet all of the areas with some drainage improvements. At Straight Line Kilometre 51.00 to 54.85 it is proposed to improve the drainage in this area to redirect the water to the floodway at 54.85. Additional Source of funding is Main Roads Western Australia - Road Project Grant $499,186 and Remote Aboriginal Access Road Grant $250,000Total cost of proposed project is $998,222
Menzies North West, Ularring - 131366-24WA-RTR
Improvement to road surface, drainage due to the increase travel and requirement for all weather access.Improve the table drain and adding additional gravel, stabilise floodway and seal. Additional funding from council's own funds ($1,023,565) and Regional Road Group funding ($372,708, proposed).Total cost of proposed project is $2,877,062
Eurelia West Road (Rural Road) - 131373-24SA-RTR
Surface material erosion and drainage problems, leading to clay exposed causing a rough surface which is also slippery when wet.Cart and spread crushed rubble to repair the road surface
Rademaker Road (Rural Road) - 131374-24SA-RTR
Surface material erosion and drainage problems leading to exposed clay and a rough surface which is slippery when wet.Cart and spread crushed rubble to repair the road surface
Tyabb-Tooradin Road, Prarcdale - 131382-24VIC-RTR
Tyabb Tooradin Road is currently not in a good asset condition, signs of heavy rutting/depression which was observed as areas with corrugated cracks and changes in level of the road surface. High traffic volumes, heavy vehicle traffic, narrow sealed road width, and drainage issues are causing ongoing maintenance problems and potential for failure and closure of road.Urgent repairs and reconstruction of road which include new geotextile with asphalt overlay and targeted patching. Full reconstruction in sections to address drainage issues.
Hatfield Place, Hebersham - 053675-14NSW-RTR
The existing road pavement is heavily oxidised with some crocodile cracking, block cracking and extensive stripping of the pavement surface.Reconstruction of the road pavement including the provision of an asphaltic wearing course.
