Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

McNairs Rd (Rural Road) - 131381-24NSW-RTR
Gravel road at intervention level to re-sheet, wearing surface worn down to local traffic and heavy vehicles.Re-sheet wearing surface to provide all weather access.
Playford Road, Sunlands - 131376-24SA-RTR
Deterioration of shoulder edge and lack of width of road for heavy vehicles.Road shoulder to be excavated constructed and sealed to 7.6 m width. The additional funding source is Council.Total cost of proposed project is $308,028
Baroma Road (Rural Road) - 131398-24NSW-RTR
Insufficient gravel leading to wet weather accessibility issues. Damage from heavy vehicles.Overlay of 150 mm thick manufactured road base (50mm minus), 7 m wide for 8km.
Blue Nobby Road (Rural Road) - 131397-24NSW-RTR
Loss of shape, rutting and washouts, gravel thinning.Rip and reshape road, add gravel where required, clear drains, compact and final trim.
Yallaroi Road (Rural Road) - 131396-24NSW-RTR
Loss of shape, rutting and washouts, gravel thinning.Rip and reshape road, add gravel where required, clear drains, compact and final trim.
Murulla Street, Murrurundi - 131402-24NSW-RTR
Continual dampness and water flows from weather events has resulted in deteriorating road approaches to either side of Murulla Street causeway has created road safety issues for both light and heavy vehicles approaching and entering the causeway.Treatment was to extend the causeway on both sides with 200 mm thick concrete. The causeway was extended 25 m on one side and 30 m on the other, with a width of 4.6 m.
Idaville Road, Merriwa - 131393-24NSW-RTR
Road has failing pavement with road in poor condition with significant defects requiring substantial maintenance and patching. Due to the continued poor condition of the road both safety and drainage issues exist.Upgrade stormwater drainage, pavement remediation by 200 mm overlay, 350 mm full depth stabilisation and two coat bitumen seal.
Gummun Lane, Merriwa NSW - 131395-24NSW-RTR
Road is an unsealed road that requires continually maintenance with road deterioration from stormwater damage.Upgrade road section with pavement rehabilitation, stormwater drainage and initial two-coat bitumen seal.
Ross Street Coonamble (Rural Road) - 131405-24NSW-RTR
Pavement failure from water ponding and poor drainage.Replace damage kerb and gutter (30m) and rehabilitation of 140m2 of road.
Huntingwood Drive, Huntingwood - 053677-14NSW-RTR
The existing road is heavily oxidised with extensive crocodile cracking and some rutting of the road surface due to the heavy industrial traffic experienced on this road. The extensive cracking is allowing the ingress of water into the pavement resulting in pot holes and accelerating the failure of the pavement.Reconstruction of the existing road pavement including the provision of an asphaltic wearing course.
