Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Preng Im Street, Napranum - 129428-24QLD-RTR
Existing bitumen seal is aged and badly cracked, allowing water into the pavement and causing pavement failures along with erosion of the edges.Minor patching of failed areas, shoulder grading to bring shoulder to the correct road level, improvement of drainage to prevent water entering the pavement, a geotextile double reseal, reinstatement of speed deterrent devices and line marking and improvement of signage.
Ben Lomond Rd (Rural Road) - 131415-24NSW-RTR
Problems being address is a degraded and defected rural sealed road surface that needs renewed.Work proposed is the sealing of this segment 80 on Ben Lomond Rd with a total distance of 2.040 km from Ch 10.120 km to Ch 12.16 km.
Sargents Road, Minchinbury - 053682-14NSW-RTR
The existing road pavement is heavily oxidised with longitudinal and block cracking occuring including crocodile cracking in some areas. Leaching of the pavement material through the failed areas is also occurring, indicating excessive water ingress into the pavement and accelerating the failure of the road.Reconstruction of the road pavement including the provision of an asphaltic wearing course.
Claude St, Armidale - 131414-24NSW-RTR
Problem being addressed is defected and degraded poor condition kerb and gutter.Work proposed is the replacement of 121.1 m of kerb and guttering on the north side of Claude St and the replacement of 40.2 m of kerb and guttering on the south side of Claude St. Total replacement of 161.2 m on Claude St
Edward Street, Armidale - 131404-24NSW-RTR
Degraded and defected poor condition kerb and gutter.Replacement of 151.9 m of kerb and guttering on Edward St - 70.5 m on the east side and 81.4 m on west side.Total cost of proposed project is $117,000
Short St, Armidale - 131403-24NSW-RTR
Problem being addressed is degraded and deformed poor condition kerb and gutter that needs replaced.Work proposed is the replacement of 106.4 m of kerb and gutter on the south side of Short St and the replacement of 75.8 m of kerb and gutter on the north side of Short St.
Racecourse Road, Beaufort - 131475-24VIC-RTR
Narrow road pavement including sealed wearing surface approaching and across a rail crossing.Widening the road pavement and sealed wearing surface approaching and across the rail crossing including pavement reconstruction and strengthening.
Caloona Road (Rural Road) - 131096-24NSW-RTR
Poor condition unsealed road that becomes impassable after moderate to heavy rainfall events.Reconstruction and sealing of 6.2 km of unsealed road with 9 m formation and 8 m wide wearing surface with improved flooding resilience.Total cost of proposed project is $5,708,000
Ferry Hills Road, Wallaville - 131471-24QLD-RTR
Floodway has reached end of life. Requires replacement. Replace existing concrete floodway. Source of additional funds - Council.
Mattons Road, Avondale - 131472-24QLD-RTR
Floodway has reached end of life. Requires replacement.Replacement of concrete floodway. Source of additional funds = Council.Total cost of proposed project is $470,000
