Chapel Road, Bundalong - 136569-25VIC-RTR
This section of road has lost its shape, becoming hollow and holding water in the wet weather, making it difficult for safe vehicle access. This section of unsealed road will be re-sheeted with up to 125 mm of crushed rock to improve the safety for users of the road.
Meades Lane, Longwood East - 136642-25VIC-RTR
The road pavement has deteriorated, with surface material depth degraded to a point of failure and general roughness beyond maintenance grading. The entire section of road pavement will be re-surfaced in 250 mm gravel / crushed rock, to be compacted to 100 mm, graded and reformed as per Councils maintenance protocol.
Bogan Road, (Rural Road) - 136648-25NSW-RTR
Project involves an asphalt overlay at the intersection of McClintocks Road and Bogan Road, comprising 100 mm AC20 base course and 50 mm AC14 wearing course. The works are designed to extend the service life and improve the durability of this key intersection, supporting heavy vehicle movements associated with North Parkes Mines.
Wellington Street - From Russell Street to Coburg Street West - CLEVELAND - 053889-15QLD-BS
Upgrade merge signage, delineation and street lighting and install traversable headwall on culvert
Alagala Road, (Rural Road) - 136646-25NSW-RTR
Upgrade the existing gravel road, including realignment through a curve and associated land acquisition, and seal approximately 4 km of currently unsealed road. Works also include heavy patching of the existing sealed section, followed by resealing to improve pavement condition and safety.
Bawaka Homeland Access Road (Rural Road) - 136641-25NT-RTR
The project involves the detailed design, realignment and construction upgrade and extension on the Bawaka Homeland Access Road. Problem Statement: The current access route to the Bawaka homeland and the associated Aboriginal owned and operated tourism business as an informal, unsealed beach track. The surface is sandy, uneven, and frequently boggy, with conditions changing rapidly due to tidal movements and wet season conditions. The current track has no engineered formation, drainage, or stabilisation, resulting in poor traction, unpredictable depths of sand, and periods where access is entirely impassable. Engineering Recommendation: The proposed engineering solutions will include detailed site assessment/engineering design, realignment and construction upgrade extension on the Bawaka Homeland Access Road. Proposed works shall include refining the existing road alignment and constructing a new road formation within a greenfield environment. The upgrade road will provide a minimum 6 m carriageway, comprising a 4 m gravel pavement with 1 m shoulders on either side. Associated stormwater management and surface drainage will be incorporated. The construction project will extend along approximately 4.5 KM of the existing road network.
Tirroan Road, Tirroan - 136529-25QLD-RTR
Pavement rehabilitation due to the section of road reaching intervention level.
Groves Weir Road, Colbinabbin - 136336-25VIC-RTR
Rehabilitation of the existing pavement as it has reached intervention level, it is described as being in very poor condition with serviceability now being affected and increased maintenance costs. Work will be carried out to rehabilitate the pavement and apply a new bitumen and wearing aggregate (stone) surface (width 4m, depth 150mm). 1 rural road culvert is identified as failing under adopted service levels. If this culvert is not renewed it will lead to further deterioration of the road pavement and impede on rural drainage and ultimately the culvert collapsing. Work will include removal of existing culvert structure and replacement of the culvert to appropriate infrastructure standards, replace/renew guideposts, clearing and removal of rubbish and disposal of all unusable material.
Park Road, Undera - 136618-25VIC-RTR
It was identified that the gravel wearing course had deteriorated, resulting in significant shape loss and weakening of the pavement structure. To restore the road surface, Class 4 FCR was imported and used to construct a new 100?mm gravel wearing course. The material was water-treated, shaped and compacted to rebuild the correct pavement profile, allowing for proper drainage and improving both safety and ride quality.
Mulcahy Road, Undera - 136619-25VIC-RTR
It was identified that the gravel wearing course had deteriorated, resulting in significant shape loss and weakening of the pavement structure. To restore the road surface, Class 4 FCR was imported and used to construct a new 100?mm gravel wearing course.
