Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The existing pavement over the major culvert 352 is narrow and existing end walls and edge beams create a hazard for larger vehicles. No guardrail over the structure and no approach and departure guardrail.Construct extensions to the inlet and outlet side of the structure to current engineering standards providing increased load bearing capacity and traffic ability. Atoll Close, Port Douglas - 100837-18QLD-RTR

Nanima Road, Nanima - 100813-18NSW-RTR
In this section the road gravel is washing away and ltherefore creating large holes making it unsafe for drivers and requiring additional maintenance.Resheeting this area will improve the roads driving surface and addresses various maintenance and safety issues. This resheeting will also reduce Councils requirements for ongoing repair and maintenance work, ensuring the road is safe and accessible.

In this section the road gravel is washing away and ltherefore creating large holes making it unsafe for drivers and requiring additional maintenance.Resheeting this area will improve the roads driving surface and addresses various maintenance and safety issues. This resheeting will also reduce Councils requirements for ongoing repair and maintenance work, ensuring the road is safe and accessible.
Good Hope Road (Rural Road) - 100817-18NSW-RTR
Road is currently sealed but is in need of realignment, widening and rehabilitation to make safer and minimse the amount of maintenance required by CouncilRealignment, widening and rehabilitationTotal cost of proposed project is $230,000
Berrida Bullagreen Road (Rural Road) - 100827-18NSW-RTR
Currently has a bitumen seal of 3.6m with 1.5 unsealed shoulder which is unsuitable for two way traffic containing heavy vehicles and is a safety concern to motorists. This road is also a bus route and a primary through road.We intent to treat the pavement by 1.5% slag/lime binder and mix to a depth of 200mm. The formation will be widened to 8.5m with the addition of a 6m wide seal.
Sue See Avenue, Mount Isa - 100835-18QLD-RTR
Irregular pavement surfacing with pavement having reached end of service life. Pavement is high maintenance at present and a potential safety concern with loose stones and irregular surface generated by potholes.Pavement Rehabilitation & two coat seal
Goldfields Road - 100840-18WA-RTR
Road failure due to heavy traffic loads.Reconstruction of road and cement stabilise failures.Total cost of proposed project is $163,000
Riverhills Road, Eagleby - 100844-18QLD-RTR
Due to an increase in traffic, safety and capacity of the current unsignalised T-intersection is to be addressed.The project involves the reconstruction and widening of the existing pavement and signalisation of the intersection. Lighting upgrades will also be undertaken.Total cost of proposed project is $3,062,000
