Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The road surface does not have sufficient road base, which results in potholes and ruts, which reduces the speed at which vehicles may travel along the road. Furthermore, the existing surface becomes slippery during and after rainfall.Overlay existing surface with 100mm compacted road base material.

Due to the heavy vehicular traffic the rate of pavement failure and shoulder gravel erosion has increased.It is proposed to widen, top up, and recompact the existing pavement and increase the seal width from 3.8 m to 6.2 m.Total cost of proposed project is $386,405
Verdon St (Inglewood) - 101121-18VIC-RTR
The insufficient drainage at the intersection has weakened the existing pavement and wearing surface.Install new underground drainage structure from the road to connect to the existing main drain in town.Total cost of proposed project is $240,000
South Seas Drive, Ashtonfield - 101129-18NSW-RTR
Poor pavement condition rough surface polished aggregate near school. Area is troubled by expansive clays and the subgrade has no pavement subsoil drainage to protect it from the impact of water.reconstruction of the road pavement using stabilised gravel and installation of sub soil drainage lines to ensure subgrade is as dry as possible. Surface to be sealed and using RMS specified stone to improve skid resistance. Some new and upgraded signage and linemarking.Total cost of proposed project is $900,000
Paddy Mulraneys Rd., Edenhope - 100768-18VIC-RTR
Unsealed gravel road has lost it's gravel wearing course and has become rough with a loose unsafe surface.Resheet with 100 mm thick new gravel pavement.
Patterson Road (Rural Unsealed Road) - 101130-18NSW-RTR
Black soil progressing through pavement, impeding on traffic, whilst causing safety concerns with all stakeholders. Improved safety for school bus route.Re-sheet to a depth of 100mm to improve payment strength, therefore improving access and safety
