Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Nancy Street, Sunshine West - 130515-24VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement exhibits oxidation and areas of significant cracking, loss of aggregate, and longitudinal roughness. In addition, significant lengths of concrete kerbing in in poor condition.The project includes the following major aspects - Rehabilitation of 250 metres of existing road pavement and resurfacing with asphalt, reconstruction of existing kerb and channel, reconstruction of existing vehicle crossing and footpaths.Total cost of proposed project is $330,000
Maurice Road (Rural Road) - 130399-24SA-RTR
Upgrading and realignment of existing unsealed pavement of an identified regional intra-freight route in order to alleviate disproportionate level of maintenance due to heavy vehicle traffic accessing intensive commercial and rural farming operations.Increasing depth of existing granular pavement to cater for heavy vehicle loadings and re-align sections of existing roadway (including supplementary earthworks) to enhance safety for all road users (CH 2360 - CH 3020). Balance of funding provided by Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) program.Total cost of proposed project is $650,000
Taylors Road, Fraser Rise - 130504-24VIC-RTR
Existing intersection requires an upgrade due to safety concerns and congestion due to increased traffic movements.The works will see the intersection of Taylors Road and Plumpton Road upgraded to accommodate a duplicated carriageway along Taylors Road as well as the delivery of a fully signalised intersection. This project is jointly funded by $4,222,384 in Developer Contributions & $3,077,505 in Council RatesTotal cost of proposed project is $7,299,889
Corinthian Road East, Riverton - 130517-24WA-RTR
Asphalt is deteriorating and cracking on existing road pavement. The pavement in need of renewal.Rehabilitation of existing road surface and resurfacing of road. The additional cost for the project is municipally funded.Total cost of proposed project is $323,847
Auburn Street, Coonamble - 130446-24NSW-RTR
Pavement failure from water ponding and poor drainage.Installation of a concrete dish drain, some kerb and gutter works and rehabilitation of the road either side of the dish drain.
Charles St, Coonamble (Rural Road) - 130443-24NSW-RTR
Pavement failure from water ponding and poor drainage.Installation of concrete dish drain, some kerb and gutter replacement and rehabilitation of road either side of the dish drain.
Farm Street, Rockhampton - 130327-24QLD-RTR
Existing asphalt seal has reached its asset life and required rehabilitation.Undertake pavement repairs as required, followed by a spray seal to waterproof the surface. A final asphalt seal to be laid with line marking to follow. Jointly funded with Council.Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
