Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Gravel surface has been lost over time resulting in road being unusable in wet weather. Road provides access to bird hide which is used by local residents and tourists.Gravel re-sheet 500 metres of road with a layer of 100 mm gravel.
Moira Vale Road (rural road) - 131298-24NSW-RTR
Gravel surface has been lost over time resulting in road being unusable in wet weather.Gravel re-sheet 1.0 km of road with a 100 mm layer of gravel.
Unnamed Road, Pormpuraaw - 131106-24QLD-RTR
All weather community access to local residences and sealing of dirt roads to reduce dust pollutants in adjoining residential properties.The works proposed are to prepare subgrade and lay a paved road with 400 mm concrete edge restraint to match the existing township roads. Approx 1150 m2 in total area including concrete edge restraint as follows: Pupwarrangan St (Chainage 0) to Ngurrin St (Chainage 138) (Longitude 141.6209E & Latitude 14.9029S) Southern Section - Seal width of approx. 4500 mm wide x 138000 mm in length and Ngurrin St (Chainage 143.5) to Wang Winh Kartchar St (Chainage 275.5) (Longitude 141.6198E & Latitude 14.9006S) Northern Section - Seal width of approx. 4000 mm wide x 132000 mm in length.

Existing drainage structures not functioning creating inundation issues during wet season.Reinstate all drainage structures and upgrade pipe sizes where required to cater for the volume of water during rain events
McPhersons Road, Gunns Plains - 131310-24TAS-RTR
Bridge beam failure, load limit imposed, restricted access.Replacement of existing timber bridge with concrete bridge.Total cost of proposed project is $243,745
Lobster Creek Road, West Ulverstone - 131311-24TAS-RTR
Aging seal, ride quality, skid resistance, polishing of stone, bleeding.To re-seal the section as part of the annual re-sealing program.Total cost of proposed project is $142,387
Sixteenth Street, Irymple - 053661-14VIC-RTR
Existing surface is breaking up by heavy vehicle use.Asphalt Resurfacing in accordance with Asset Maintenance Strategy.Total cost of proposed project is $143,850
