Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Repair and/ or replacement of damaged or undersized drainage structures. Due to the continued poor condition of the road both safety and drainage issues exist. Installation of additional drainage structures through cuttings and low lying sections of road; Clearing vegetation and potentially widening cuttings to improve sight distance; Installation of guard rail; Maintenance and formation grading of the road pavement including initial seal. Barrington Tops Forest Road, Moonan Brook NSW - 131392-24NSW-RTR
Road is an unsealed gravel road in poor condition with significant defects requiring substantial maintenance grading & gravel patching. Repair and/ or replacement of damaged or undersized drainage structures. Due to the continued poor condition of the road both safety and drainage issues exist.Installation of additional drainage structures through cuttings and low lying sections of road; Clearing vegetation and potentially widening cuttings to improve sight distance; Installation of guard rail; Maintenance and formation grading of the road pavement with initial seal. Balance Fixing local roads round 2 $4,530,000, and LRCI $2,100,00, Fixing local roads 3, $2,694,000.Total cost of proposed project is $9,869,687
Scone Road, Merriwa - 131394-24NSW-RTR
Road is a major though-fare for heavy vehicle, bus school route and residential traffic. Road has failing pavement with road in poor condition with significant defects requiring substantial maintenance and patching. Due to the continued poor condition of the road both safety and drainage issues exist. Upgrade stormwater drainage, pavement remediation by 200mm overlay, 400mm full depth stabilisation with two coat seal. Balance LRCI $700,002, $1.3M RERRF.
Atkinson street, Mount Surprise - 131423-24QLD-RTR
Waterlogging during the heavy rain fall event and impassable.Construction of 400 m long x 1 m width x 1 m open drain and 200 mm diameter pipe culverts of 10 m long.
Air Strip Back Road (Rural Road) - 131425-24QLD-RTR
The Air Strip back road is the access road to Georgetown Aerodrome and visibility issue at night. Installation of electric pole, transfer and lights.
Cox Lane, Mount Surprise - 131419-24QLD-RTR
No proper drainage path along the Gulf Development Road in Mount Surprise. Water is not going to west due to high level of the Cox Lane and impacting traffic flow and properties To construct a concrete spoon, drain of 12.65 m long x 1 m wide and kerb / channel of 9 m long.
