Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Mozart Street, Seven Hills - 053678-14NSW-RTR
The existing road is heavily oxidised with extensive crocodile cracking, block cracking and some associated rutting. Some existing heavy patches are failing. In some areas the oxidised wearing course is de-laminating from the base layer creating pot holes.Reconstruction of the existing road pavement including the provision of an asphaltic wearing course.
The Garden Road (Alice Springs - Rural Local) - 131427-24NT-RTR
The 10 kilometres section between 16 and 26 kilometres is severely deteriorated, with exposed natural surface due to no gravel left on formation. The road is poor skid, causing slippery conditions that is hazardous for the drivers. Gravel resheet.
Gilberton Road (Rural Road) - 131416-24QLD-RTR
The existing floodway was washed away from November 2023 flash storm event and access at present is very poor and is impassable when wet.Remove the existing floodway, damaged pipes, trees and construct a pipe culvert and concrete floodway over the pipe culvert (34.60 m x 4.8 m x 0.2 m thick). This is jointly funded project . QRA: $42,000 and SLRIP :$133,304.Total cost of proposed project is $210,687
Lakeway Street, Claremont - 131434-24WA-RTR
Old, damaged kerbs requiring replacement. Damaged and cracked road surface in poor condition. Replace damaged kerbs and resurface the road. Additional funding to be provided by Council.
Elkedra Property Access Road - Tennant Creek Rural Local - 131428-24NT-RTR
This road connects the Aherrenge community to the major regional towns for accessing goods and services. This road is also a crucial link for Elkedra cattle station for transporting goods, services and livestock. This section of the road is boggy with deep scours and corrugation, and is regularly washed-out in wet season. These defects lead to unsafe driving conditions. Gravel resheet.
Andrews Road (Rural Road) - 131344-24WA-RTR
Heavy corrugations and overgrown drainage. Some heavy caprock in worn down road surface that cannot be pulled.100 mm of gravel re-sheet over existing pavement. Reshape and roll road surface. Renew spoon and mitre drains.
Dangin Terrace, Dangin - 131345-24WA-RTR
Seal has reached end of life with large holes and cracks. Large tree roots have lifted and impacted western end so entry from York-Merredin Road for tourism and heavy vehicles is very rough.Road surface ripped and reshaped. New emulsion prime and 14/7 mm C170 seal.
Walker Street, Quairading - 131407-24WA-RTR
Seal had reached end of life with large cracks and potholes appearing. Road surface was in poor condition surrounding Shire's Town Hall which is an often-used venue in town, particularly for larger functions.Reseal with C170 one coat seal using 7 mm aggregate.
Badjaling North Road (Rural Road) - 131408-24WA-RTR
Left hand side pier is in poor condition. The pier has broken away and Corbel 1 is only seated on small section of pier. Cracks are widening. Timber railings are in poor condition.Replace concrete pad for Corbel 1 on Pier 1, grout cracks on Pier 1, Replace timber railing on left and right hand sides.
Quairading - Corrigin Road (Rural Road) - 131410-24WA-RTR
Full reconstruction and road widening to 10 m pavement and 8 m seal occurred during 2023/24. Sealing wasn't completed until late into the winter so an emulsion prime was used.The Shire wishes to reseal with S45R (crumb rubber) to ensure longevity to the new works.
