Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Road depth is below standard leading to increased risk of corrugation.Re-sheet gravel to increase depth of road base.

Road surface deterioration such as pot holing, stripping, cracking and oxidation.Two coat seal resealing is to be carried out to restore road surface condition 928.17 square metres.
Nimbin Road, Booerie Creek - 131004-24NSW-RTR
Pavement failures, poor road drainage, failed subgrade and safety issues.700 m of capital road upgrade; improved road cross-falls and superelevation; widen road travel lanes and seal shoulders; upgraded drainage with new culvert, new kerb and gutter and rock lined table drains; installation of new guardrail; pavement rehabilitation.Total cost of proposed project is $2,268,831
Shaw Street, Rowena - 131022-24NSW-RTR
Poor drainage and deteriorating pavement conditions are creating large depressions and boggy areas when the town experiences localised rainfall, making access to the school difficult and unpleasant for students, parents, teachers and the school bus operator.It is proposed to construct a concrete spoon drain alongside the road and rehabilitate the sealed pavement area for car parking spaces and school bus drop off/pick-up location and construct of a footpath leading into the local school.
Napier Road, Katherine - 130863-24NT-RTR
Pavement is very old and deteriorated with constant occurrence of pavement defects such as bleeding, rutting, delamination and surface wearing after repairs. Reactive maintenance is not improving the road condition and is not a value for money. Rehabilitation including earthworks, pavement reconstruction and wearing course; and installation of line marking and road furniture.
Dorisvale Road, Katherine - 130865-24NT-RTR
Poor road condition. Dorisvale Road is closed on an average for 54 days/year and impassable for 65 days/year due to no gravel, deteriorated pavement and poor drainage. This road services many cattle stations for cattle export and road safety is their biggest concern. Gravel resheeting.
Amanbidji Access Road, Katherine - 130851-24NT-RTR
The Amanbidji community becomes inaccessible during the wet season due to the localised flooding or saturated pavement condition due to the impassability of water. Medical services, police support and food supplies can only be delivered by air transport when the road is impassable. Upgrade 0 to 11 kilometres from formed to gravel standard.

Mulga Park Road, Alice Springs - 130696-24NT-RTR
Mulga Park Road is a well used road for the cattle transport and the tourism industries and a high proportion of indigenous communities. A significant volume of traffic is triple road trains for cattle haulage, community stores and mining explorations. The road section traverses winding sand dune and rocky hill country, with numerous creek crossings and worn formation. It also has lost gravel and exposed to natural surface. In wet weather, water ponding closes the road for short to medium period. The road has been the subject to numerous near misses and accidents. Gravel Resheet from 85 to 108 kilometres.
Fountain Head Road, Darwin - 130864-24NT-RTR
The pavement and surface is very old and deteriorating with heavy cracking, high roughness and potholes. The reactive maintenance is not a value for money since the bleeding and surface wearing reoccur after maintenance. Pavement rehabilitation from 0.0 to 1.5 kilometres.
