Fell Timber Road (Rural Road) - 131482-24NSW-RTR
Loss of gravel on unsealed road, and subsequent rutting and roughness.150 mm resheet of uncrushed locally-quarried gravel to the quantity of approximately 905 tonnes, compact/grade, and re-cut mitre drains to suit the new road crown. Full width re-sheeting.
Forest Reefs Road, Millthorpe - 131486-24NSW-RTR
Flushed/bleeding wearing surface comprised of hot sprayed bitumen.Reseal including scatter coat to provide stone penetration and restored condition of the wearing course.
Glenelg Road, Blayney - 131491-24NSW-RTR
Loss of gravel causing rutting and roughness.Re-sheet of approximately 170 mm of locally-quarried crushed gravel, grade, re-cut mitre drains to suit new gravel.
Napier Street, Blayney - 131492-24NSW-RTR
Oxidised seal with environmental cracking, leading to roughness.Reseal and scatter coat over full road width to restore seal condition.
Old Lachlan Road (Rural Road) - 131495-24NSW-RTR
Loss of gravel causing large ruts, roughness, and saturated roads leading to low trackability.Re-sheeting of approximately 1000 tonnes of crushed select gravel at a nominal thickness of 100 mm over patches totalling 1 km in length, re-cutting mitre drains to suit graded road.
Quairading - Corrigin Road (Rural Road) - 131413-24WA-RTR
Two very old timber box culverts were still in place. The road surface was sinking and cracking with the current traffic volumes and they had reached end of life.Replace timber culverts with high-density polyethylene pipes that have the same capacity and include headwalls.
Hayes Road (Rural Road) - 131411-24WA-RTR
Shoulder has worn away leaving a drop of >30 mm next to seal. Drops are a cause of concern for drivers of light and heavy vehicles, making vehicles pull into loose gravel when passing.Road grader will pull existing gravel material back next to seal. Roller and water cart will be used to achieve maximum compaction.
Treloar Road (Rural Road) - 131490-24WA-RTR
Soak on north side of the road makes the pavement constantly wet so road frequently potholes with a large divert.Add a 300 mm HDPE pipe to allow water to cross under road, add rock bunding and replace seal.
Minchin Road (Rural Road) - 131493-24WA-RTR
Existing pipes do not have sufficient flow. Water flows over road in heavy rainfall, washing away the road surface which then become hazardous.Remove pipes and replace them with culvert boxes for improved flow.
Sentry Drive, Parklea - 053684-14NSW-RTR
The existing road pavement is heavily oxidised with crocodile cracking and some associated rutting. Leaching of the pavement material is also occurring indicating excessive water ingress into the pavement and accelerating the failure of the road.Reconstruction of the road pavement including the provision of an asphaltic wearing course.
