Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Seaside Boulevard - 056090-15QLD-RTR
The proposed section has the following defects: failures in both wheel paths, deep depresions, crocodile cracking and the asphalt surface is old, brittle and oxidised. Both the surface and pavement have major failures.Pavement rehabilitation consisting in-situ stabilisation of the existing pavement and a new asphalt wearing surface (using 50mm thick size 14mm dense graded asphalt) including the installation of subsoil drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $157,400
Murraylands Road (Rural Road) - 056091-15SA-RTR
The current road is not currently gazetted for B Doubles preventing any B-Double freight access to chicken farms. Once completed the project will provide sealed access to chicken farms located approximately 4-8kms along Murraylands Road allowing B-Double access.Resheet and sealing of 4.2 kilometres of Murraylands Rd. The road width will be increased to a minimum of 10m width carriageway along the length of the route.Total cost of proposed project is $1,338,800
Dixon Road - 056092-15QLD-RTR
The proposed section has the following defects: extensive ravelling of the existing asphalt surfacing and oxidation due to the age and weathering of the asphalt surface. The surface has moderate failures.Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with the concrete kerb and channel; waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; and 50mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using 14mm nominal size aggregate).Total cost of proposed project is $745,225
Graphite Road, Manjimup - 056094-15WA-RTR
Failing and deformed existing sealed pavement. The existing seal is old, crocodile cracking is widespread and pot holes are becoming common.Intervene before pavement of gazetted road train route fails. Provide new reseal to maintain pavement integrity.
Creekside Boulevard - 056095-15QLD-RTR
The proposed section has the following defects: areas of ravelling, old, oxidised and weathered asphalt surface.Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with the concrete kerb and channel; Waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; and 50mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using 14mm nominal size aggregate).Total cost of proposed project is $354,877
Plaza Parade - 056097-15QLD-RTR
The proposed section has the following defects: major ravelling, oxidation and weathering of the asphalt surface, some minor cracking in small isolated areas. The surface of the road has moderate failures (for example, potholes and patches).Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with the concrete kerb and channel; Waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; and 50mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using 14mm nominal size aggregate).Total cost of proposed project is $602,017
Windy Harbour Road (rural road) - 056098-15WA-RTR
Primer seal (only) exists on this section of reconstructed road.Place a reseal to ensure integrity of the pavement is maintained.
Pennant Road, Bunbury - 056100-15WA-RTR
Pennant Road requires a complete reconstruction due to pavement failure, potholing and drainage issues. Pennant Road is a busy connector road between Sandridge Road and Strickland Street, and is adjacent to the Forum Shopping Centre.The Pennant Road works will consist investigations regarding options and works to elevate the road surface to eliminate drainage issues and ponding. Drainage upgrades will be undertaken where required. The road base will be replaced and resealed. Lighting upgrades will be undertaken to illuminate the roadway appropriately. Traffic Management will be an important part of the these works due to the busy location of the site.Total cost of proposed project is $505,516
Bowman Road - 056101-15QLD-RTR
The proposed section has the following defects: extensive ravelling, oxidation and weathering of the asphalt surface and cracking in some areas. The surface has moderate failures (for example, potholes and patches).Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with the concrete kerb and channel; Waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; and 50mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using size 14mm nominal aggregate).Total cost of proposed project is $517,723
Anning Avenue - 056102-15QLD-RTR
The proposed section has the following defects: moderate crocodile craking, heavy patching, ravelling, oxidation and weathering due to the age of the existign surface. The surface of the road has moderate failures (for example, pothoels and patches).Asphalt Resurfacing: Profile edges to key-in with kerb and channel; Waterproofing and crack alleviation bitumen sprayed seal; 50mm thick Dense Graded Asphalt Overlay (using size 14mm nominal aggregate).Total cost of proposed project is $148,699
