Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

M1 Safety Improvements
The project will plan and deliver new and upgraded road crossovers and installation of intelligent system signage on the M1 between Wahroonga and Beresfield.
AUKUS Planning Study and Business Case
This project will undertake planning for key transport infrastructure upgrades that will improve commuter and freight access to the Lefevre Peninsula in North-West Adelaide, including to the AUKUS Defence precinct.
Sydney to Canberra Rail Corridor Upgrade
The project involves short-term upgrades to the Sydney to Canberra rail corridor and development of a business case for longer term initiatives.
Bagot Road Safety and Capacity Upgrades
The project will upgrade the intersections of Bagot Road with Fitzer Drive, Totem Road and Osgood Drive.
Bruce Highway - Gateway Motorway to Dohles Rocks Road (Stage 2)
The project will construct collector-distributor roads and new bridges across Pine River from the interchange with the Gateway Motorway and Gympie Arterial Road to north of the interchange with Dohles Rocks Road.
East Derwent Highway - Bowen Bridge to Bridgewater Improvements - Planning
The project will undertake planning for upgrades to the East Derwent Highway and Goodwood Road intersection at Bowen Bridge, as well as improvements to bus stops, pedestrian facilities and active transport infrastructure along the highway.
Sunset Drive, Winston - 136918-25QLD-RTR
A condition assessment of the roads pavements is performed. Areas of damage (Cracking, Deformation of the pavement) are identified and recorded. The Damage is categorised according to severity (Category 1 More damage to Category 3 Less Damage). The affected areas then undergo Milling and Filling to a nominal depth of 40mm. Pavement "Milling" removes unstable or deficient materials. "Filling" with a subsequent application of a corrective asphalt course, Tack Coat Application, and Joint Construction restores shape and ride quality. This combination, halts further pavement degradation, eliminates pathways for water ingress, and restores the road profile. 1,350 Lineal Metres.
M1 Pacific Motorway - Exit 45 (North) Ormeau
Undertake design and preconstruction activities to improve the overpass at Exit 45.
Melton Line Electrification - Development
The Melton Line Electrification – Development project will carry out early planning work to support the future electrification of the Melton Line.This work includes site investigations, preparing designs, long lead equipment purchases and continuation of cost estimates. The project is the next stage in the implementation of the Western Rail Plan and builds on the existing Melton Line Upgrade project.
Camooweal Street, Winston - 136916-25QLD-RTR
