Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Cameron Street, Maclean - 066786-16NSW-RTR
The road pavement has failed and requires rehabilitation to return it to a serviceable condition.The road pavement will be rehabilitated to its current width by gravel overlay and stabilisation. The surface will then be resurfaced full width for the 300 metre length.
Mt Steadman Road, Gayndah Queensland - 066787-16QLD-RTR
Narrow single lane bitumen seal. Sub standard horizontal alignment with vegetation on the side of the road that impedes visibility.Widen road to a double lane standard and realign corner to improve alignment. Clear vegetation so motorists can see better.Total cost of proposed project is $312,846
Cannindah Road, Monto Queensland - 066788-16QLD-RTR
Narrow bitumen road with deteriorated sides of road making it unsafe to pass oncoming vehicles.Widen bitumen to improve safety for road users.Total cost of proposed project is $723,000
Mt Steadman Road, Gayndah Queensland - 066789-16QLD-RTR
Old and narrow timber bridge is load limited and inadequate for heavy vehicles.Replace timber with cement pipes to improve access for heavy vehicles.Total cost of proposed project is $210,000
Kungala Road (Rural Road) - 066790-16NSW-RTR
The existing bridge is 19.2 metres long and of timber construction. Major structural elements of the bridge have deteriorated which require replacement for the bridge to remain structurally sound.The proposed works will replace major structural elements, including bridge piles and abutment components.
Winfield Road, Winfield - 066792-16QLD-RTR
This 1.5 km section of road servicing 40 units and a public boat ramp on Baffle Creek is currently unsealed and has a sharp 90 degree bend. The road surface requires constant maintenance and it creates a dust nuisance.Earthworks, drainage, pavement and bitumen sealing two traffic lanes.
Mouroubra Road (Rural) - 066793-16WA-RTR
The surface can be quite slippery when wet due to the surface being primarily clay.Construct a new 9.0 metre wide 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel pavement carriageway for a total of 1600 metres. New gravel will b e imported, spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface.
Macquarie Heads Road (rural road) - 066794-16TAS-RTR
Council staff have identified safety issues and high maintenance costs due to the increase in vehicle movements.The road is narrow in some sections and poor visibility in corners and is corrugated.Grading works to remove corrugations and road crown shaping to re-sheet with gravel and two coat bitumen seal which will include new signage and guide posts
Gabbin - Cleary Road (Rural) - 066795-16WA-RTR
The surface can be quite slippery when wet due to the surface being primarily clay.Construct a new 9.0 metre wide 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel pavement carriageway for a total of 5400 metres, new gravel will be imported, spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface.
Lowana Road, Strahan - 066796-16TAS-RTR
Council staff have identified safety and maintenance issues due unsealed gravel road surface. Runoff road surface due to lack of storm water drains.Clean out drains lay culvert pipes, shape up and re-sheet, Sealing of road
