Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Becker Street, Cobar - 042150-10NSW-RTR
Road is severly cracked as a result of the increased number of Road Trains using this road.Excavate Base and Replace Base works with Gravel ,Reconstruct, Overlay and Reseal Damaged Intersections
Echo Hills Road, Mulla Creek (Rural Road) - 042284-10NSW-RTR
Timber bridge was washed away in flooding event in 2008. Temporary replacement bridge was installed in 2009 but is on a lower level and is repeatedly washed away in minor flooding events, cutting off public road access to residents of Echo Hills Road east of the bridge.Replace temporary bridge structure with permanent concrete bridge at a higher level and on an improved alignment. Works include construction of bridge approaches and concrete bridge.Total cost of proposed project is $279,643
Moreton Bay Rail Link (QLD) - Redcliffe Peninsula Line and Rothwell Roundabout
The project delivered a 12.6 kilometre dual-track passenger rail line between Petrie and Kippa-Ring, including six new rail stations at Kallangur, Murrumba Downs, Mango Hill, Mango Hill East, Rothwell and Kippa-Ring. The project also delivered the Rothwell Intersection Upgrade by converting the existing roundabout at Deception Bay Road and Anzac Avenue to a signalised intersection.
Princes Highway West - Planning for Winchelsea to Colac
The project completed the necessary planning to duplicate 37 kilometres of the Princes Highway from Deans Marsh Road, Winchelsea to Corangamite Street, Colac. The project finalised the scope of works and completed environmental and engineering investigations, community consultation and traffic modelling. The project also completed the relevent statutory approvals.
Redbank Gorge Road (Rural) - 042498-10NT-RTR
Flooding of the road occurs during the wet season causing boggy conditions, scouring of the pavement and generally making the road hazardous to travel. Continual grading has caused the road to become lower than the natural surface. The road is unsealed and has poor drainage. This road is a vital link for the tourists to the West Macs Park. The project to Lift, gravel resheet and improve drainage will improve wet access and safety.Lift, gravel resheet and drainage improvement various sections of chainage 0 to 4.7 kilometres.
Santa Teresa Road (Rural) - 042503-10NT-RTR
Flooding of the road occurs during the wet season causing boggy conditions, scouring of the pavement and generally making the road hazardous to travel. Continual grading has caused the road to become lower than the natural surface. The road is unsealed and has poor drainage. The Santa Teresa Road is a vital link for the cattle and mining industry, indigenous communities and tourism. The project to Lift, gravel resheet and improve drainage will improve wet access and safety.Lift, gravel resheet and improve drainage various sections of chainage 90 to 130 kilometres.
Kurundi Road (Rural) - 042508-10NT-RTR
The Kurundi Road is used to support pastoral proprerties, aboriginal communities and tourists with the Davenport parks. The crossing can be impassable to cross in the wet season for weeks; installation of Inverts will improve accessibility.Construct 40m Invert at chainage 15.61 kilometres Construct 30m Invert at chainage 22.27 kilometres
Murray Downs Road (Rural) - 042509-10NT-RTR
The Murray Downs Road is extensively used by the heavy vehicles in the support of pastoral proprieties and Aboriginal Communities. The road is sand clay with gravel mix, all creeks crossing in the wet season are boggy and are difficult to cross, an invert will improve accessibility and safety.Construct 50m x 8m Invert at chainage 57.35 kilometres
Perenjori Road (Rural) - 042467-10WA-RTR
Current Bridge has been assessed as requiring replacementTo replace entire bridgeTotal cost of proposed project is $1,233,278
Elleker Grasmere Road - 042573-10WA-RTR
Bridge 4689 is an old timber bridge. The main structural members have degraded to a point that many need complete replacement. The current bridge is a single lane bridge which is inappropriate for the traffic on this road. ** WA Special Aboriginal Access Road Program **Demolish the existing bridge. Build a new concrete/steel bridge. The new bridge will be 2 lanes wide to cater for the current traffic. Replace bridge [Project cost $1800,000. Balance to be provided from the Financial Assistance Grant program in 2013-14]Total cost of proposed project is $3,312,000
