Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Willian Street, Narrandera - 039535-10NSW-RTR
Poor Street surface, sub-base has deteriorated the surface has become rough to travel along making it unpleasent for the road user.Excavate material and mix adding water and extra gravel together before levelling and compacting followed by application of double double bitumen seal.
Old Hereford Road, Mt Evelyn - 041201-10VIC-RTR
Old Hereford Road is a collector road from Hereford Road to Old Gippsland Road, with abutting urban residential properties. Due to poor drainage control, there are pavement failures in various sections of the road together with potholes and edge breakes which require ongoing maintenance. The existing width of Old Hereford Road is not sufficient in some locations for effective passing of vehicles due to the limited sight distance. At present the drainage is poorly controlled adjacent to urban properties with the potential for floding.Reconstruct and widen the existing seal roadway for approximately 1150 metres to a typical 6 metres width, including kerb and channel works. The kerb and channel will allow the road to be widened while minimising impact on the natural vegetation and steep batters in various locations. It is also proposed to incorporate water sensitive design features within the project to manage road drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $889,788
Maurice Road, Gruyere - 041203-10VIC-RTR
The existing road has a crushed rock formation requiring ongoing maintenance, with residents experience problems associated with dust, corrugations and potholes. An overall reduction in maintenance costs is expected. Construction of the existing unmade road will improve the amenity and quality of access for these properties.Construct 1600 metres of unmade road to rural spray seal standard typical 4.5 metres width pavement, and 150 metres of road widening. Drainage improvement works include culverts installation as required. Intersection improvements at Victoria Road and Maurice Road. MaintenanceTotal cost of proposed project is $881,052
Charles Road, Lilydale - 041746-10VIC-RTR
The existing road has a crushed rock formation requiring ongoing maintenance, with residents experiencing problems associated with dust, corrugations and potholes. The road services abutting semi rural properties. Construction of the existing unmade road will improve the amenity and quality of access for these properties.Construction of the existing unmade road (1150 metres) from Hull Road to 460 metres south of William Road generally for a width of 5 metres from Hull Road to 130 metres south of William Road (820 metres) and then generally 3.5 metres width from 130 metres to 460 metres south of Willam Road (330 metres).The work will also include construction of kerb and channel together with underground drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $856,800
Gilba Place, Lilydale - 041747-10VIC-RTR
The existing road has a crushed rock formation requiring ongoing maintenance, with residents experiencing problems associated with dust, corrugations and potholes. The road services abutting semi rural properties. Construction of the existing unmade road will improve the amenity and quality of access for these properties.Construction of the existing unmade road (80 metres) from Charles Road to the end of Gilba Place generally for a width of 3.5 metres. The work will also include construction of kerb and channel together with underground drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $60,338
William Road, Lilydale - 041748-10VIC-RTR
The existing road has a crushed rock formation requiring ongoing maintenance, with residents experiencing problems associated with dust, corrugations and potholes. The road services abutting semi rural properties. Construction of the existing unmade road will improve the amenity and quality of access for these properties.Construction of the existing unmade road (385 metres) from Charles Road to 385 metres west of Charles Road generally for a width of 3.5 metres. The work will also include construction of kerb and channel together with underground drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $289,623
Birmingham Road, Mount Evelyn - 041749-10VIC-RTR
The existing sealed road has deteriorated significantly, with rutting, cracking and potholes evident. Rehabilitation of the road surface is necessary. The roadway is a local collector road and carries significant traffic volumes for the area. Upgrading of the road will improve local amenity and safety of access for road users.Rehabilitation of the existing sealed road pavement for a length of 460 metres from Hereford Road to Hull Road for a width of 6 metres together with to 7.0 metres, including kerb and channel work and drainage improvements to protect the road pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $420,000
Improve Flood Immunity, Road Safety and Productivity on NT Highways - Stuart and Victoria Highways Flood Immunity Works
The project involved flood immunity works at four locations on the Stuart Highway in the Northern Territory: Karinga Creek; north approach to Palmer River; Gilbert Swamp; and north of King River, plus at the Sandy Creek crossing on the Victoria Highway.
Old Adelaide Road, Kapunda SA - 042002-10SA-RTR
Sealing of Old Adelaide Road which is currently an unsealed residential street. Due to the traffic volumes dust is a nuisance in this street and the sealing will address this issue. In addition, there is no formalized drainage system in place and due to the topography and catchment of the area an underground drainage system is being proposed.Council is proposing to seal the 950m long section of Old Adelaide Road that is unsealed. The road will be constructed to a width of 7m and will include kerbing and guttering on both sides of the road. An underground drainage system will also be constructed including a stormwater catchment. Construction is being staged to match the yearly allocation of funds made available through the R2R program.
Wolfram Street, Westonia - 042109-10WA-RTR
Existing seal is cracking, potholed and undulating. Pedestrian safety compromised due to long, straight and wide street and no identified pedestrian crossings.Repair potholes, fill cracks, remove undulations and reseal over existing seal. Install traffic control devices.Total cost of proposed project is $206,029
