Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Higham St - 059155-15VIC-RTR
Higham Street is an Urban Access 1 road where the existing sealed road pavement, which is 320 metres long by 10 metres wide between kerbs, has failed. The road surface is rutted and heaved and has deteriorated along with the kerb.The existing pavement is to be removed between the existing kerbs and replaced with a new deeper pavement and the road surface bitumen sealed to provide a level safe surface in the urban environment. Kerb renewal works will be undertaken and the total road pavement between kerbs will be reduced to 8 metres width.Total cost of proposed project is $250,000

Havelock Street is an Urban Collector road where the existing sealed road pavement, which is 210 metres long by 12 metres wide between kerbs, has failed. The road surface is rutted and heaved and has deteriorated.The existing pavement is to be removed between the existing kerbs and replaced with a new deeper pavement and the road surface asphalted to provide a level safe surface in the urban environment. Some kerb renewal works will be undertaken to provide safer parking.Total cost of proposed project is $440,000

Kangaroo Creek Road (Rural Road) - 059162-15NSW-RTR
The existing bridge is of timber construction with a composite timber and concrete deck. The timber deck component and some significant timber structural members have deteriorated to the extent that the bridge requires replacement.The proposed works will replace the existing 54 metre long bridge with a single lane concrete bridge.Total cost of proposed project is $1,195,364
Burns Street - 059163-15VIC-RTR
Burns Street is an Urban Collector road where the existing seal is at the end of it life, which is 290 metres long by 10 metres wide between kerbs, is at the end of its life and is required to be resurfaced.The existing seal is to be overlayed and resurfaced with a 30mm Type N asphalt between the existing kerbs to provide a level safe surface in the urban environment.
Clarendon Street - 059164-15VIC-RTR
Clarendon Street is an Urban Collector road (85 metres long by 12.5 metres wide between kerbs) at the intersection with Tuaggra Street an Urban Collector road (10 metres long by 12 metres wide between kerbs) where the existing pavement is at the end of it life and is required to be reconstructed and resurfaced.The existing pavement and kerb at the intersection and approaches are to be reconstructed providing narrowed kerb extensions, two raised pedestrian crossings, one raised speed hump in Clarendon Street and asphalt surfacing to the intersection to provide a level and safe environment for pedestrians and motorists.
