The Australian Government is committed to a 10-year, over $120 billion infrastructure investment pipeline, ensuring a rolling program of sustainable land transport infrastructure projects.

Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Natural gravel surface has become slippery and dangerous in inclement conditions.Gravel resheet as per schedule in asset maintenance program to improve formation, vegetation and drainage as well as ensure adequate gravel for ongoing maintenance gradingTotal cost of proposed project is $88,000
Viscount Slim Avenue - 067995-16SA-RTR
The pavement is showing signs of failure with significant rutting, seal cracking and pot-holing.Council is proposing to reconstruct the pavement using insitu-recycling methods and reseal with 35mm hotmix. Minor kerbing replacement will also take place in conjunction with pavement works.
Araluen Road, Moruya - 067996-16NSW-RTR
Existing natural gravel surface has degenerated resulting in slippery and dangerous conditions in inclement weather.Gravel resheeting in accordance with resheeting program, to improve formation , vegetation and drainage as well as ensure adequate gravel for ongoing maintenance grading.Total cost of proposed project is $60,000
Eurobodalla Road, Bodalla - 067997-16NSW-RTR
Degraded gravel surface resulting in safety concerns particularly in inclement weather.Gravel resheeting in accordance with resheeting program to improve formation, vegetation and drainage as well as ensure adequate gravel for ongoing maintenance grading.Total cost of proposed project is $90,000
Nerrigundah Mountain Road, Nerrigundah - 067998-16NSW-RTR
Degraded gravel road surface posing a potential risk, particularly in the event of wet weather.Reparation by way of gravel resheeting in accordance with the resheeting maintenance program. This will result in improved formation, vegetation and drainage as well as ensuring adequate gravel for ongoing maintenance grading.Total cost of proposed project is $55,000
Unnamed Service Road - 067999-16VIC-RTR
Potholes, seal deterioration, pavement subsidence and cracking.Seal due for major patching and reseal as per inspection and renewal program from 0 to 262m over a width of 6.5m
Thrington Road, (Rural Road) - 068000-16SA-RTR
Existing road surface, both seal and pavement inadequate given traffic volumes. This road is a priamry connector road between Adelaide traffic and MoontaReseal complete length of road together with pavement stabilisation and reshaping of parts of the road. The resealing will be in a two coat seal application 14/7mm aggregate.Total cost of proposed project is $950,000
Cammeray Road - 068001-16NSW-RTR
This project will rectify existing structural road defects. These defects include significant structural and environmental cracking, high Roughness, and rutting.The work involves a deeplift asphalt treatment up to a depth of 175mm. The existing road will milled up to a depth of 175mm and replaced with asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $279,624
