Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Maimuru SS Road (rural Road) - 068160-16NSW-RTR
The bitumen seal width at 5.5m is less than the adopted seal width for this hierarchy of road (7m adopted) and pavement depth is insufficient for heavy traffic loading. This leads to pavement deformation and edge break causing poor ride quality and potential road safety issues; particularly on bends. Council incurs high recurrent maintenance costs in grading unsealed shoulders, repairing sealed edge break and patching the deformed pavementShoulder wideing to bring the road up to the adopted route standard consisting of a 10mm formation and 8m seal width. Reconstruction of the existing pavement using In-Situ stabilisation to cater for current and future vehicle loading.
Chillingworks Road, Young (Rural Road) - 068161-16NSW-RTR
The bitumen seal width at 5.5m is less than the adopted seal width for this hierarchy of road (8m adopted) and pavement depth is insufficient for heavy traffic loading. This leads to pavement deformation and edge break causing poor ride quality and potential road safety issues; particularly on bends. Old Forbes Road, Young (Rural Road) - 068162-16NSW-RTR
The bitumen seal width at 5.5m is less than the adopted seal width for this hierarchy of road (8m adopted) and pavement depth is insufficient for heavy traffic loading and B-doubles heavy vehicles. This leads to pavement deformation and edge break causing poor ride quality and potential road safety issues; particularly on bends. Council incurs high recurrent maintenance costs in grading unsealed shoulders, repairing sealed edge break and patching the deformed pavement.Shoulder Widening to bring the road up to the adopted route length of 6km repair, Standard consisting of a 10mm formation and 8m seal width. Reconstruction of the existing pavement using in-Situ stabilisation to cater for current and future vehicle loading.
Berthong Road Young (Rural Road) - 068163-16NSW-RTR
The bitumen seal width at 5.5m is less than the adopted seal width for this hierarchy of road (7m adopted) and pavement depth is insufficient for heavy traffic loading.. This leads to pavement deformation and edge break causing poor ride quality and potential road safety issues; particularly on bends. Council incurs high recurrent maintenance costs in grading unsealed shoulders, repairing sealed edge break and patching the deformed pavementShoulder widening to bring the road up to the adopted route length of 4.7km repair and standard consisting of a 10mm formation and 8m seal width. Reconstruction of the existing pavement using in-Situ stabilisation to cater for current and future loading.
Crowther Creek Bridge Scenic Road (Rural Road) - 068164-16NSW-RTR
This is a timber bridge currently propped to assist with poor structural integrity of the piles. It is planned to replace with three span reinforced concrete bridge to retain the existing waterway area and reduce scour potential at bridge abutments.Replacement of concrete Bridge with three span reinforced concrete bridge to cater for current and future vehicle loading
Ashcrofts Lane (Rural Road) - 068165-16NSW-RTR
Deterioration of road has caused the surface to become uneven and rough which has created road safety problems.Reconstruct and seal length of road. 330 metres in length by 7 metres in width.
Rye Lane(East). (Rural Road) - 068166-16NSW-RTR
Uneven and rough surface of road has caused road safety problems.Reconstruct and seal length of road. 450 metres in length by 7 metres in width.
Bairds Lane (Rural Rural) - 068167-16NSW-RTR
Deterioration of road has caused the surface to become rough and uneven which has caused road safety problems.Reconstruct and seal length of road. 1250 metres in length by 7 metres in width
Glenfield Road, Glenfield - 068168-16NSW-RTR
The existing road is heavily cracked and pot holed creating a driving hazard. The works will restore the road surface to a smooth safe finish.Rehabilitation works will be undertaken removing damage road surface and laying a asphalt surfaceTotal cost of proposed project is $1,037,026
Tyalgum Road, Eungella - 068169-16NSW-RTR
The existing sealed road is in poor condition with numerous surface defects and pavement failures. The road is very rough and provides poor ride quality to road users. Repair of the frequent and repetitive pavement and surface failures causes high maintenance expenditure.Rehabilitation of the road pavement by application of a gravel overlay and new sealed surface. Correct any crossfall deficiencies with the new gravel layer. The road alignment and width will remain similar to the existing road.
