Project description

Bond Street is an older street in an otherwise updated section of Donnybrook. Its bitumen surface has reached the end of its serviceable life. It is unkerbed and is drained via open drains which drain not only the stormwater from Bond Street itself but also streets above Bond Street. This, coupled with the fact that Bond Street is in a relatively steep area, creates ongoing and repeated issues with erosion and damage to the verge, road and private property in the area.

Reconstruct the subject section including the installation of underground concrete drainage systems. Slightly realign the road way and construct a new gravel pavement. Seal with a hot bitumen seal to 6.0 metres in width and install kerbing and reconstruct accesses to private property.
