Project description

The project involved raising road embankments and upgrades to various flood ways and crossings through the Moyle River floodplain.

Benefits

The project aimed to improve flood immunity, safety and reliability; increase efficiency of freight movements, and improve productivity of the freight corridors.

Funding

The Australian Government contributed over $15.4 million towards this project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in late-2014, and was completed in August 2016.
