Project description

This main feeder road for grain haulage and tourism has significant traffic all year round and because of large heavy haulage vehicles gravel resheeting has become essential to maintain road safety standards and viability for the ongoing economic development of the grain producers of the Shire of Kent. The road suffers from sand hole blowouts, potholing and poor drainage leading to a substandard surface dangerous to both tourists and domestic users as well as heavy haulage operators.

Reconstruct and Gravel Resheet, upgrade drainage, signage and vision improvements entire length of road within the Shire of Kent. Realign substandard alignment of intersection at Bishop Road and Rabbit Proof Fence Road.
