Project description

A high number of cyclists use Sandy Bay Road for commuting, there are currently no facilities to separate the cyclists from the high volume of traffic on the road and the existing crossing points for pedestrians do not meet current standards.

Installation of a widened footpath for pedestrians and cyclists on the eastern side of Sandy Bay Road between Marieville Esplanade and Derwentwater Avenue together with handrails and improved crossing facilities at the intersection of Sandy Bay Road and Drysdale Place
