Project description

The existing road base has deteriorated resulting in frequent pothole repairs, and needs to be reconstructed. The intersection with Baskerville Road had poor sightlines visibility so a dip in the road is to be raised to improve safety of the intersection. The currently alignment and width doesn't meet Australian Standards so the road will be widened so that it meets the standards.

Earthworks are required to improve the alignment of the road. The existing pavement will be stabilised and new widening pavement constructed to bring the road up to standard. The works will be completed with a new base layer and 2 coat seal.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,200,000
