Project description

The existing road pavement is heavily oxidised with some extensive crocodile cracking and deformation throughout the pavement.   Deep areas of rutting along the kerb line has previously occurred, with the pavement being temporarily repaired and made safe.  Failures continue to progress along the kerb and gutter area, accelerating water ingress into the pavement. Overturning of the kerb and gutter in the same location is occurring increasing the risk of trip hazards and pavement deformation.

Reconstruction of the road pavement including the provision of an asphalt wearing course.
