Project description

One of 20 projects delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway Upgrade Program.

This project upgraded the road infrastructure between the Winton and Moonie Highway intersection, providing additional lanes, a new set of traffic and pedestrian signals and pavement strengthening operations.

Benefits

The project improved safety and freight efficiency at the Eastern approach to the town of Dalby. 

Funding

The Australian Government has increased its funding commitment from $44.8 million to 44.872 million towards this project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in August 2017 and was completed in November 2018.
