This is one of the 20 projects being delivered as part of the Australian Government's $508 million commitment to the Warrego Highway Upgrade Program.

The project involved duplication of 3.5km section from two to four lanes between the Moonie Highway intersection and the Condamine St and Watt St intersection in Dalby. The project scope comprises safety works and intersection upgrades including signalisation of the Dalby-Jandawae Road and the Black St intersection, as well as pavement strenghtening.

Strengthening works allow the pavement to withstand a predicted increase in heavy vehicle usage.

Funding

The Australian Government provided $44.9 million towards the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.
