Project description

The current horizontal road alignment currently has line of sight deficiencies due to high cut batters. The windy alignment combined with tight curves (bends) presents a safety issues for vehicle towing boats and caravans, when facing oncoming traffic from the other direction. Additional lateral support is required on the fill batter to ensure that the road formation is stable and to prevent potential collapse.

Benching of cut batters to improve line of sight, road widening and sealing, provide embankment support on the fill batters
