Project description

The gravel shoulders on this section of road are seriously deficient of shoulder width and/or gravel depth creating a major traffic hazard. Robinson Road has been the subject of a five year shoulder widening program and this is year two of the five year program to be widened. This section of road is part of the grain cartage route to a major terminal.

Council proposes to widen the formation width creating a more suitable embankment angle with a wider shoulder from the bitumen edge and in doing so making it safer for the road user.
