Project description

High traffic density on Peachey Road does not provide sufficient gaps to permit vehicles to turn right on exit from the Ormeau Marketplace Shopping Centre. A planning review identified the preferred option to construct signals at the access to the Ormeau Marketplace Shopping Centre. The installation of signals will also provide a safer pedestrian crossing point for Peachey Road.

Construct and install signals on Peachey Road at the access to Ormeau Marketplace Shopping Centre.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,122,064
