Project description

The existing unsealed surface becomes very slippery when wet, mainly due to the surface being primarily clay.

Construct a new 9.0 meter wide carriageway pavement with a 7.0 meter wide seal width, by forming up the existing pavement, importing new gravel material, water binding spreading and compacting this material and finishing it to accept a new 2 coat emulsion primerseal for the entire 370 meter section. Some minor drainage works will also be required.
