Project description

Masonry wing walls are loose and leaning slightly outwards. Surface rusting to flanges of both stringers. Minor spot rusting of crossheads, columns and column bracing. No barrier and approach guard fence present. Minor spot rusting of bracings. Minor settlement of both approaches.

Review masonry wing walls which are loose and leaning slightly outwards, and stabilise if necessary. Carry out Risk Assessment to determine if approach guard fence and barrier is required. If required undertake design and works. Clean and repaint affected areas of surface rusting to flanges of both stringers. Repair spot rusted paintwork on both crossheads, columns and column bracing.
