Project description

Bitumen road width currently at 3.8 metres with 1.5 metre gravel shoulders at either side. Bitumen seal has deteriorated and heavily potholed, the gravel shoulders are of poor quality gravel and becomes slippery and unsafe when wet, the culvert at Straight line kilometre 7.92 needs to be renewed and widened, vegetation needs to be cleared either side of the road.

Clear vegetation either side of road to accommodate road width. Form V drains. Renew storm water culvert and install headwalls. New base gravel on shoulders to 10 metre width formation. 125mm gravel base overlay on existing pavement and shoulders. stabilise and compact to line and level. 14/7mm bitumen aggregate seal. Install new signage and guide posts.
