Project description

The project will provide for:
 - the development of strategic design to concept stage and detailed design, for delivery readiness of the Upgrade of Appin Road between Rosemeadow and Appin. 

 - a Corridor study between Appin Road and Spring Farm Parkway/Menangle Road. 

 - an upgrade of 3.5kms along Appin Road between Brian Road, Appin, and Mount Gilead.

Benefits

The expected project benefits include improved road safety, and improved traffic flow and efficiency.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $122 million to the project.

Timetable

Construction timeframes will be determined in consultation with Transport for NSW.
