Project description

The project completed the below works:

Hutton Road at The Entrance North: Reconstructed 470 metres of road and installed kerb and guttering, constructed a shared pathway, upgraded bus stops and replaced a sewer rising main.

Audie Parade, Berkeley Vale: Constructed a stormwater drainage system at Audie Parade, Kilkenny Parade, Gladys Avenue and Judith Anne Drive.

Blenheim Avenue, Berkeley Vale: Reconstructed 510 metres of Blenheim Avenue, 330 metres of Buckingham Road, 400 metres of St James Avenue, 290 metres of Windsor Road and 280 metres of Marlborough Place and installed kerb and guttering, upgraded stormwater drainage and completed intersection improvements.

Wattle Tree Road, Holgate: Reconstructed of 115 metres of the southbound parking lane and upgraded the footpath on Wattle Tree Road, installed kerb and guttering and drainage.

Benefits

The upgrades has improved safety and alleviated flooding issues.

Funding

The project was fully funded by the Australian Government. The Australian Government contribution was capped at $10.12 million.

Timetable

The project commenced construction in June 2017 and completed construction in July 2020.
