Project description

The project will deliver realignment, widening and renewal along a 42-kilometre stretch of Mount Lindesay Road, between Legume and Woodenbong, to increase safety and facilitate use by heavy vehicles.

Benefits

The project will provide safety benefits along the road, reduced travel times and increased freight efficiency in the area.

Funding

The Australian Government has increased its funding commitment from $12 million to $13.5 million towards this project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in mid-2018, and is expected to be completed in late 2026.
